Heroine
A great woman named Kyla Sentes has taken on Canada’s $75 million dollar asbestos industry.
While Canada has banned some forms of asbestos, two companies in Quebec still export a legal form called chrysotile asbestos to developing countries that use it to reinforce cement.
Ms. Sentes, whose own father died from asbestos, is fighting the good fight. As we read here, she is exposing the hypocrisy of Canadians who insist that chrysolite asbestos is safe—even though it is only exported and not used in Canada itself.
Kyla Sentes deserves our support.
